KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia:  Malaysian technology company ProppyApp unveiled its vision for a Trusted AI Cloud Ecosystem during the Sukuk Pre-Launch for ProppyApp, highlighting how trusted artificial intelligence (AI), digital identity and secure digital infrastructure could support the company's long-term growth and contribute to Malaysia's digital economy.  

The event brought together representatives from the financial industry, regulators, institutional investors and the technology sector to explore the convergence of AI, trusted digital identity, Islamic finance and digital assets. Distinguished guests included Y.A.M. Tunku Naquiyuddin Ibni Tuanku Ja'afar (Chairman of ProppyApp); Apurva Sanghi (World Bank in Malaysia); Gautam Puntambekar (Bank of America Malaysia); Dato' Dr. Hng Paik San (Tek Securities Limited); Mr. Jaafar Rihan (Labuan Financial Services Authority); Mr. Wan Suhaimie (Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad); together with representatives from My Digital ID Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia Blockchain Infrastructure, MIMOS Bhd., as well as institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, multinational corporations and strategic partners.

Opening the event, ProppyApp Chief Executive Officer Dr. Max Chen presented the company's long-term vision of building a Trusted AI Cloud powered by proprietary technologies, intellectual property, registered trademarks and integration with Malaysia's national MyDigital ID platform. He said trusted AI, digital identity and secure cloud infrastructure will become the foundation of next-generation digital services, enabling governments, businesses and communities to operate with greater trust, security and interoperability in the AI era.  

Dato' Prof. Dr. Hng Paik San, Executive Director of Tek Securities Limited, highlighted the growing role of Sukuk as a strategic capital market instrument for innovative businesses. He said Sukuk combines sound Shariah governance, transparency and sustainability principles. 

Speaking on "Unlocking New Opportunities Through Islamic Finance, Sukuk & Digital Assets," Mr. Jaafar Rihan of Labuan Financial Services Authority said that while technology creates possibilities, trust is new what enables markets to scale. He emphasised that innovation must be supported by strong regulatory oversight, robust Shariah governance, effective risk management, investor protection and market integrity. He described ProppyApp's vision as timely and relevant, reflecting the growing convergence of Islamic finance, trusted digital infrastructure and digital assets. 

Meanwhile, ProppyApp Founder and Chief Architect Lee Willson unveiled the architectural vision behind the company's Trusted AI Cloud Ecosystem, introducing a Trusted AI Layer that embeds privacy, security and trust into AI interactions. Built around trusted digital identity, AI services, organisational management, digital commerce, payment capabilities and data intelligence, the architecture is designed to support a secure and interoperable AI-powered ecosystem. 

He also introduced the concept of "Commercial Sovereignty", advocating that organisations should retain ownership of their digital identity, customer relationships, data and AI capabilities rather than relying solely on third-party digital platforms, enabling them to build sustainable long-term enterprise value. 

The event concluded with the Sukuk Pre-Launch Ceremony, officiated by Y.A.M. Tunku Naquiyuddin Ibni Tuanku Ja'afar, Chairman of ProppyApp, who reflected on ProppyApp's journey and the progress achieved under its leadership. Having witnessed the company's development from its early stages, he reaffirmed his confidence in its long-term vision and pledged his continued support for its efforts to build trusted AI digital infrastructure that contributes to Malaysia's digital transformation. The event also highlighted how capital market financing can play an important role in supporting innovation-driven technology companies.
