This is necessary in view of possible breach of not only the Forestry Act, but other related environment and development laws in the process of degazettement of the Kuala Langat (North) Forest Reserve (KLNFR), as explained below.
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia--The East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project has taken proactive steps in the Public-Private Partnership COVID-19 Industry Immunisation Programme (PIKAS) by utilising three (3) ECRL base camps in the East Coast states as industry vaccination centres (PPVINs). The implementation of this initiative will facilitate the exclusive vaccination of about 6,500 personnel and field workers, a bid that will further accelerate the COVID-19 vaccination process involving the construction and transportation sectors.
